About Lymi
What is lymphatic drainage?
Manual lymphatic drainage is a very light, rhythmic form of skin massage that follows the direction of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps move fluid out of the tissues, and it has no pump of its own, so gentle movement, breathing and light strokes can support that flow.
Lymi teaches a simple, self-applied version of these techniques for everyday wellness, for example to feel less puffy in the face in the morning or less heavy in the legs after a long day. It uses only your hands and very light pressure.
Is Lymi a medical treatment?
No. Lymi is a wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition and is not a substitute for medical lymphatic drainage performed by a trained therapist.
If you have a medical condition, in particular a lymphatic disorder such as lymphedema or lipedema, a heart or kidney condition, an acute infection, a blood clot, cancer, a skin condition in the area, or if you are pregnant or recently had surgery, please talk to a healthcare professional before using Lymi. Stop immediately if anything hurts.
How long do the routines take?
Most routines take between three and six minutes. Each one is split into short, timed steps. The app shows the illustration for the current step and counts it down, so you can simply follow along without watching the clock.
Do I need any tools, oils or devices?
No. Every routine in Lymi is done with your hands only. You don't need a gua sha, roller, brush or oil. The pressure should be very light, about the weight of your hand resting on your skin, and the strokes should feel comfortable.
Which body regions are covered?
Lymi includes routines for the face and jaw, neck and collarbones, arms, belly and legs. Each routine starts by opening the main lymph nodes and then works through the region in the right direction, with an illustration for every step.
How often should I do a routine?
Once a day is a good rhythm for most people, and that is what streaks and the daily reminder are built around. Short and consistent works better than long and occasional. If a routine ever feels uncomfortable, take a break and reduce the pressure.
Streaks and reminders
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts the number of consecutive days on which you completed at least one routine. Finish any routine today and the streak grows by one. Miss a full calendar day and the streak resets to zero; your longest streak is kept so you can see your record.
Streaks are stored only on your device. There is no leaderboard, and nobody else can see them.
How do I set or change the daily reminder?
Go to Profile in the app and choose a reminder time. iOS will ask for notification permission the first time. You can turn the reminder off in the app or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Lymi. Reminders are local notifications; nothing is sent to a server.
Does the app need an account or internet connection?
No account is needed and there is nothing to sign up for. Routines, illustrations, history and streaks all work offline. An internet connection is only required when you buy, renew or restore a subscription through the App Store.
Subscription
What does the subscription include and how is it billed?
Lymi offers weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions (and sometimes a discounted yearly offer). They are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Full details are in our Terms of Use.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select Lymi and tap Cancel Subscription.
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore my subscription on a new phone?
Install Lymi, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase, then go to Profile → Restore Purchases. Your subscription will be recognised within a few seconds. Please note that routine history and streaks are stored only on the old device and are not transferred.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves, but if something went wrong, let us know and we will do our best to help.
Your data
How do I reset my data?
Go to Profile → Reset all data. This permanently deletes your onboarding answers, routine history and streaks from your device. This cannot be undone. Your subscription is not affected.
Where is my data stored?
Everything you enter in Lymi stays on your iPhone. We have no servers and no accounts, so we cannot see your answers, history or streaks. Only subscription data is shared with Apple and our subscription provider RevenueCat, using an anonymous ID. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Delete account / data
Lymi has no user accounts, so there is no account to delete. All of your data lives on your device. To delete it, use Profile → Reset all data in the app, or simply delete the app from your iPhone. Remember to cancel any active subscription in iOS Settings first if you no longer want it.
Full instructions: Delete your data.
